FIRST LOOK: Bio-Works Airsoft
Leon Roy

For those of you that don’t know, Bio-Works specialises in custom builds and repairs. These guys are the ones to watch.

It’s all too easy to simply say you create custom builds and one offs by shoving the odd real steal grip on a 1911. You know what, you’re probably not even reading this, the images of their latest commissioned pieces of work are just sublime and the images render most words useless. It’s the most futuristic, bad ass looking 1911 I have ever seen.

As it stands, its using a Tokyo Marui MEU as a base and has had a plethora of external parts installed and modded to fit perfectly. A few that can be seen are the extended guide rod, Kimber style front sight, slide lock, ambidextrous safety AS Novak rear sights and some of the first RT Grips to hit Blighty. The slide has been machines and engraved; it’s one of a kind.

Oh yeah, it’s been tricked out internally too. Parts from Nineball, Shooters Design, Maple Leaf, A+, AIP, Guarder and more. I’ve been left feeling a little discontent with life reading and posting about it… just look at the shots below. Amazing work.

Keep up with Bio-Works here.
